ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

Requirements:

Consolidated experience in 5-star or 4-star luxury hotel as Assistant Restaurant Manager or 3 years previous experience as Room Supervisor;
Fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a prerequisite;
Excellent Team Working skills;
Positive, communicative and professional attitude with colleagues and guests.

Job description:

Support the Restaurant Manager in staff management;
Ensure that the F&B area is checked before opening to guests and that the entire area is clean, properly equipped and with a high standard of maintenance;
Ensure that all mis-en-place for restaurant service is properly prepared before the opening time of service;
Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus;
Cope with any sudden criticality during the service, ensuring its smooth continuation and making sure that guests do not perceive the criticality;
Positive complaint handling and resolution.

Job description:

Prepare a wide range of sweet and savory pastries for foodservice and breakfast, leavened foodservice products, biscuits, end-of-meal gourmandise, spoon desserts, and cafeteria monoportions;
Be responsible for the execution of the pastry line during their shift;
Ensure execution according to the standards set by the Pastry Chef;
Ensure the cleanliness of the station and compliance with HACCP and safety rules in the work environment and in the use of equipment
